FORM A TEAM
During registration, you may either register an individual or register a team. Individuals will be assigned to a team in their age group. In order to form teams, parents are asked to volunteer as coaches and assistants.
Coaches may register a team here. Coaches will be provided with a unique link for their team members to register. Upon registration, players will be rostered automatically to their team.
Teams are coached by parent volunteers. Washington Soccer Academy will support and educate each coach by providing weekly training sessions and hosting coaching education clinics. These resources will give each coach the foundation for teaching age-appropriate skills through activities and enjoyable games.
All coaches and managers must pass a background check, be Heads Up certified, and be SafeSport certified. Coaches who complete a minimum of the MYSA Foundations of Coaching Course will receive one registration fee refund. (One-time offer.)
Training at Washington Lakeview Soccer Park may occur on weeknights, per the coach's request & availability; Monday through Thursday. Games may be played on Friday evening, Saturday, or Sunday.

Our three children have played with WSA for the past 4 years. The coaches and program have given our children confidence, and they have enjoyed seeing their skills progress! They’ve enjoyed buildings relationships with team members as well! We are happy to have this program so close to home. It is a great asset to the Washington community. WSA provides a competitive, community-focused outlet for families with children.

Positive, encouraging, motivating, challenging, and the list goes on. My boys love playing soccer for WSA and they have grown so much. From recreational to competitive, my boys have learned so much, have been pushed to grow as a person and a player, and have been encouraged constantly by their coaches. The program that WSA has developed is amazing and we are proud to be a part of it!

The WSA recreational league offers children a great introduction to soccer. Three of our four kids have participated in WSA’s recreational league and our fourth will be signed up soon. We love watching them grow in skills and confidence while having fun and staying active. The league really focuses on the players and gives them the structure to flourish. My kids absolutely love playing soccer for WSA!

Through WSA our daughter has not only developed a love for soccer, but we have watched her develop socially. She has gone from being too timid to walk onto the field alone, to running onto the field to play soccer with her new friends. She has gained confidence in herself and has shown enthusiasm to learn and improve by setting personal goals for each game.

The Washington soccer Academy has been a great program for my family. I have coached my son and his team since he was in Kindergarten. It has been amazing to see the growth they’ve made on the soccer field. Their ball skills, communication, and accountability have all improved through the years. They have made many long-lasting friendships and the Washington Soccer Academy is an experience the whole family can enjoy!!
Dad & Coach to William
In the last few years of the Washington Soccer Academy, I’ve noticed a big change from years past. The level of excitement and engagement from the parents and kids has gone up exponentially.
It’s awesome to see that there are so many options for the kids nowadays through WSA… if they want to learn how to be a goalie or play the field, play competitive or rec, they have choices.
The WSA Rec League is a great opportunity for kids to learn how to be on a team, show sportsmanship, and learn how the game is played.
