Join WSA Pre-Rec League

The Official MYSA Santioned League in Franklin County

Designed as an introduction, our pre-rec league helps players build the necessary skills to succeed both on and off the field. All players will be led by WSA parent volunteers who will implement a development curriculum based on principles established by US Soccer in weekly training and games.

The pre-rec league is offered in short sessions multiple times a year. Sign up for one or all!

Registration for Fall 2023 Sessions will begin in May.

TEAM COACHES

All teams are coached by parent volunteers. Parents are supported by a WSA curriculum and League America training.

We were a little hesitant to sign my 5-year-old twins up for the instructional league last fall. But after the first training, my wife and I were glad we did.

The instructors from East Central College were amazing. I was worried they would goof off the whole time, but they made sure all the kids got the instruction and attention they needed. It's no secret younger kids have an attention span of next to nothing, but Brayden and Mackenzie were engaged from the start of their training to the end of their training, all because the instructors were fun and engaging.

Coach Oli was fantastic with Brayden and Mackenzie. He (and all the ECC players) were able to get to the younger kids' level and teach them important skills for their age group. We will for sure sign up our kids again next time registration rolls around.

Our three children have played with WSA for the past 4 years. The coaches and program have given our children confidence, and they have enjoyed seeing their skills progress! The WSA recreational league offers children a great introduction to soccer. Three of our four kids have participated in WSA’s recreational league and our fourth will be signed up soon. We love watching them grow in skills and confidence while having fun and staying active. The league really focuses on the players and gives them the structure to flourish.
