MYSA Coaching Certification
As a coach, you have many responsibilities and duties. You serve as a mentor, a leader, and a role model for not only your players but your community. Professional development and continuing education are critical to the advancement of our coaches and our players. In order to create a safe environment that will allow us to maximize the potential of our players, we must constantly challenge ourselves to raise the level of our teaching, coaching, and instruction. This is the primary goal of the Coaching Education program within the Missouri Youth Soccer Association (MYSA).
Below are the NEW requirements for all coaches that desire to coach in a MYSA sanctioned league or event (including State Cup, Presidents Cup, and tournaments hosted by Missouri Clubs):
- Yearly background check
- SafeSport Certificate (or Refresher certificate)
- Heads Up Certificate
- Foundations of Coaching License or Grassroots License
