U6 & U8: 4v4 Game Model

  1. No offsides will be called
  2. No penalty kicks will be awarded
  3. No goalies, only field players
  4. All out of bounds restarts will be kicks (corner kicks, goals kicks, kick-ins or dribble-ins) There will be no throw-ins, which encourages players to not bunch up and coaches being able to teach spacing. It will be up to the player/coach if a sideline out of bounds is restarted with a kick-in or dribble-in

U10: 7v7 Game Model

  1. No offsides will be called
  2. Penalty kicks can be awarded
  3. A build-out line will be used to promote the goalkeeper to play the ball out of the back in an unpressured setting
  4. After the goalkeeper secures the ball with their hands, the opposing team should establish their tactical formation behind the build out line, then the goalkeeper can pass from the ground, throw or roll the ball back into play (punts and drop kicks are not allowed)
  5. After the goalkeeper puts the ball into the play, the opposing team can cross the build-out line, and play resumes as normal
  6. Ideally, the goalkeeper will wait until the opposing teams get established behind the build-out line, however, the goalkeeper can pass from the ground, throw or roll the ball into play at any time after securing the ball with their hands, but the goalkeeper does this accepting where the opponents are on the field and the consequence of how play resumes

U12: 9v9 Game Model
